Arts Spirit Flyer |
Dear South Shore colleagues,
Attached is the flyer for our Music Seminar on Tuesday, November 6, 2012: CREATING AN ARTS SPIRIT at Foxborough High School. This seminar is sponsored by the Foxborough Public Schools in conjunction with the LSDO professional development group. Registration is through LSDO, per the information on the flyer.
Please feel free to share this professional development opportunity with your music educators. As last year, the seminar is free to teachers in LSDO member districts. There is a nominal fee of $40 for teachers from non-member districts.
As you know, our music seminars over the past two years have been very well received, with guest clinicians from all over Massachusetts and beyond. We are happy to offer this year's one-day seminar, Creating an Arts Spirit; A one-day seminar on exploring ways to enhance teaching and learning in our classrooms and rehearsal halls, to all music educators in the LSDO member districts, as well as those from outside districts.
This year's seminar will be facilitated by Steve Massey, Director of Music, Foxborough Public Schools along with guest panelists and clinicians: Dr. Frederick Harris, Conductor, Wind Ensemble/Jazz Ensemble Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Jessica Wilke, Classroom Music Specialist, Houghton Elementary School and Sal Cicciarella, Director, Connecticut Children's Chorus, Connecticut Men's Choir- the Hartt School Community Division. Clinicians will offer a choice of workshops during two breakout sessions.
Registration will be made directly through Cindy Haley-Higgins at the LSDO office: [email protected]
We look forward to welcoming your music educators on November 6th!
